IYCN’s maximizing nutritional benefits of agricultural interventions

Dear colleagues,

On June 14, the Infant & Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) Project hosted Maximizing Nutritional Benefits of Agricultural Interventions, a seminar at the Global Health Council’s annual conference. Thank you to all of our global health and agriculture colleagues who joined us for the event. We enjoyed learning about your perspectives on the intersection between agriculture and nutrition and gaining your input on our proposed nutritional impact assessment tool.

For our colleagues who were not able to participate, thank you for your interest and inquiries about the event. We have posted a session summary and a PowerPoint presentation on the IYCN website, linked below.

We will keep you informed about next steps as we continue to explore opportunities to link nutrition and agriculture programs. Please contact me at info@iycn.org if you would like to learn more or join us in developing and using the proposed nutritional impact assessment tool.

Read a summary of the session and download the PowerPoint presentation: Maximizing Nutritional Benefits from Agricultural Interventions.

Sincerely,

Tom Schaetzel, Technical Director
Infant & Young Child Nutrition Project
