About

The Infant & Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) Project was the flagship project on infant and young child nutrition of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) from 2006 through 2012. The five-year project aimed to improve nutrition for mothers, infants, and young children and promote HIV-free survival of children. IYCN built on 25 years of USAID leadership in maternal, infant, and young child nutrition, focusing on proven interventions that are effective during pregnancy through the first two years of life. Download IYCN’s Final Report: Our global efforts to prevent malnutrition during the first 1,000 days.
