Ghana Promotion of Complementary Feeding Practices Project: Baseline Survey Report

Summary: This report describes findings from a baseline survey of 270 caregivers conducted by the IYCN Project, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), PATH, and the Ghana Health Service in 2011. The survey aimed to understand current knowledge and practices related to complementary feeding. GAIN plans to conduct an endline survey at the end of 2012 to determine changes in caregiver behaviors as a result of a social marketing intervention to improve complementary feeding practices.
